At American Music, our goal is to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with any product1, you can return it for a full credit or refund of the product purchase price within 15 days of receipt of item(s).
1The following items are returnable only if defective, unopened and/or unused: strings, picks, reeds, earplugs, earbud headphones, drum sticks, drum heads, turntable cartridges, fog fluid, cleaners, polishes, polishing cloths, recorders, all whistles (tin, siren, slide, etc…), jaw harps, kazoos, and harmonicas. Software, CDs, & DVDs may be returned only if defective, and will be exchanged for the exact same item only. Unsealed, copy protected materials such as sheet music and music books cannot be returned or exchanged.
For credit card returns, a credit will be issued for the purchase price. Once we have received your return and verified its condition, we will credit your account. Pease allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement. Refunds are made for product value only, excluding shipping and handling charges.
All returns must:
- Include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and original receipt.
- Be complete with all original packaging and collateral materials such as manuals, warranty cards, straps, cables, and any other materials originally shipped with the item.
- Be in brand-new condition and show no signs of wear such as belt or pick scratches, scuffs, dings, dents, scrapes, etc. on the instrument or collateral materials. Returned items not in brand-new condition may be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.
How to return or exchange an item:
- Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by calling us at: 206.633.1774 or toll free: 877.813.7390.
- Place the original package with all accessories and collateral materials into a shipping container.
- Please do not place shipping labels or stickers on the original manufacturer's box.
- Make sure the RMA number is clearly visible on the outer box.
- Ship via an insured ground carrier with a tracking number. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. American Music is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
